Mrs. Wood's HSW College Marketing Students recently conducted a "Blind Taste Test"experiment in class, during an excercise directed at trying to establish the difference between brand and generic name items. Click to see some of the pictures from the event!
Mrs. Wood's HSW and Mrs. Coloe's HSW Fashion Marketing Classes recently traveled to Westhampton Beach High School, where they witnessed a SPECIAL presentation by TLC's popular TV Show, "Say YES to the Dress," featuring wedding gowns from Klienfelds. 2010 - 2011 School Year
Students in Mrs. Keegan's and Mrs. Kelly's Introduction to Finance class have scored high marks on this year's National Financial Literacy Certification Exam. Mrs. Keegan's HSW Wall Street class "cleaned up" their shares of equity in the 2010 fall contest of the Stock Market Game!
Mrs. Keegan and Mrs. Kelly's Introduction to Finance classes and Mrs. Grafstein's Career Planning class had the unique opporrtunity to learn about the importance of managing your credit, during a classroom presentation in October 2010.
Mrs. LoFrese, Mrs. Kelly, Mrs. Wood and Mr. Como’s College Accounting 1 & 2 classes had the opportunity to participate in an Accounting webcast sponsored by the New York State Society of CPAs on Friday, October 22nd, 2010.
