Accounting students explore careers in the industry!

Mrs. LoFrese, Mrs. Kelly, Mrs. Wood and Mr. Como’s College Accounting 1 & 2 classes had the opportunity to participate in an Accounting webcast sponsored by the New York State Society of CPAs on Friday, October 22nd, 2010.  The panel consisted of Accountants from various areas within the Accounting profession such as:  Audit, Litigation, Forensics, Tax and Banking.  The discussion provided the students with information on the types of Accounting careers one could pursue with an Accounting degree and what it takes to be successful as an Accountant.  The students listened to the presentations and then had the opportunity to ask questions of the panel.    Mrs. Lofrese, Mrs. Kelly, and Mrs. Elmore at High School East:        Mr. Como's class at High School West:
