The SHSE School of Business Club has adopted a theme this year.  They want to continuously “Pay it Forward” and to kick off the campaign they started with a non perishable food and toiletry drive.  There was a request from PAX Christi that they were in need of travel size shampoo and toothpaste and the students were well aware of the need for food in our local food pantry’s.

The club collected 601lbs of non perishable food and toiletries.  The students have expressed that this amount has set a precedence and next year their goal is to reach 1,000lbs.  The drive was conducted within the Business Department courses and 601lbs is an outstanding amount.

Thank you to all who supported the clubs efforts.  Students collectively decided to distribute the food among the Smithtown Food Bank, Adopt a Family and PAX Christi Homeless Shelter.
